Allyson Felix
Allyson Michael Felix a Los Angeles native born on the 18th of November, 1985. Felix's father Paul Felix is an ordained Minister in the Master's Seminary, Sun Valley. And her mother Marlean Felix is a teacher at Balboa Magnet Primary School. Felix displayed a knack for sports early, and discovered her talent for sprinting when she attended the Los Angeles Baptist High School. Within a short time after her initial attempt, she finished second in the 200 meters race of the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix has graduated from high school in 2003, signed an agreement with Adidas. After that, she was accepted into at the University of Southern California and completed her studies in elementary education. The following year, Felix earned the first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece setting a junior world record by taking 200 metres at 22.18 seconds. In the 2005 Helsinki World Championships, Felix became the youngest winner in the world in the 200m. The following year, she defended the title in front of her Jamaican adversary Veronica Campbell. Felix took part at Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo and consistently placed among the top three athletes in each of her events.
